WHAT CANNOT BE DONE
You cannot make any changes to windows or other elements of the leased space without written permission. This is especially true if the property manager objects to these changes.
Premises renovation
A little renovation? No problem! Still, you need to get the property manager’s and technical manager’s approval first.
There is a special procedure for carrying out construction work, including renovations and alterations, in the building. The most important requirements are listed below. Please read the full information in the document attached to the lease agreement: “Contractor’s regulations”.
DESIGN CHANGES STEP BY STEP
Before starting the work, the contractor must obtain a permit. This will be issued by the manager of the Renoma Shopping Centre on the basis of a notification form.
In order to obtain a permit for the work, the contractor must submit the following information:
- the expected scope of the dangerous work,
- the method of securing the work area,
- the method of ensuring that the face of the work is kept aesthetically pleasing,
- the method of delivery of materials,
- the method of waste disposal,
- the third party liability insurance issued to the principal or the contractor,
- the work schedule.
When carrying out work at Renoma, the contractor is required to comply with a number of regulations, including occupational health and safety, fire safety and adequate security of the work. Failure to do so will result in suspension of the works until the cause of the breach is rectified.
On completion of the works, the contractor shall immediately restore the area adjacent to the site to its condition prior to the commencement of the works.
All construction works shall be carried out in accordance with the following rules:
- The timing of noisy and disruptive works must be agreed with the building manager; this is usually after the opening hours of the complex or at weekends.
- Escape routes, passages, staircases, vestibules and corridors must not be blocked.
- The building site must have its own rubbish container and rubbish may be disposed of only there; the location of the container must be agreed with the manager, taking into account both the convenience of the building team and the comfort of the building users.
- Persons carrying out the work should not use lifts and should only use staircases; walls, stairs and handrails should be protected from mechanical damage when transporting materials.

Common areas
Freedom in your own home!. Still, not where employees of different companies meet. Apart from the examples given in the branding section, you must not display any signs, information, flags, posters, adverts etc. in common areas. This applies to windows, doors, corridors and other shared parts of the building unless you are given special permission. To get it, make sure that everything you want to put in common areas is unobtrusive and fits in with the surroundings.
