Meet Renoma

A unique place in the centre of Wrocław, which opened its doors for the first time on 2 April 1930 – the day of the inauguration of what was then the largest department store in Wrocław. From the very beginning, the building was impressive, both in terms of its façade and its shops, and it quickly gained a reputation among the city’s residents. 47 years after its opening, it was given its current name and entered into the register of monuments as an example of modernism.

Progress meant that functionality no longer matched the excellent architectural form. Thanks to its revitalisation, the building has regained its functional qualities and has become a favourite shopping destination for the people of Wrocław. The city’s residents enjoy spending time there because, in addition to a wide range of shopping options, they have access to restaurants and culture in one place. Renoma plays an active role in the life of the city through numerous social and educational events.
